Now in its 6th year, Cowboys and Cornbread is a day long celebration of western living and old-fashioned fun at El Dorado County Fair & Event Center in Placerville, California.

$15 Per Carload (up to 6 people per car, includes on grounds parking) | $6 parking in tiers | $3 per person walk-in | 6 & under free

Western Art Show and Sale

The Cowboys and Cornbread Western Art Show is designed to celebrate the American West's heritage, scenery and the western way of life. We are looking for artists with original works of art who share the same passion of Western Living as we do. Jewelry, Hats, Portraits, horseshoe art, most anything you've created that can be attributed to western theme, accepted. Application

1.) Choose your Favorite "Country Living" photograph you've taken in the last 3 years.
2.) Print and fill out the Entry Form, turn it into the Fair office by July 13th to be entered to win!
3.) Come see your photo in the show at Cowboys and Cornbread!

  • El Dorado County Fair & Event Center Policy
  • No Pets allowed on the grounds with the exception of Service Dogs.
  • No bicycles, quads or skateboards allowed.
  • No guns or weapons allowed even with CCW permit.
  • No outside food or beverage allowed except UNOPENED sealed plastic water bottles. Baby food and special dietetic foods will be allowed. NO Coolers. NO alcohol may be brought in.
  • EMPTY refillable bottles may be brought in to be filled with water after entering the grounds.
  • El Dorado County Fair & Event Center is a non-smoking/non-puffing facility. The designated smoking area on the grounds is on the Main Lawn—except within 25 feet of shade structures, animal exhibits, children's attractions or food booths. This includes e-cigarettes. No marijuana allowed on grounds.
  • Please be advised that photographs and video may be taken at events for use by the Fair and its licensees on their websites, press and marketing materials and in other publications and productions. By entering the event, you consent to the Fair and its licensees to photograph, video and/or use your image and likeness.
