Hours of “Open Ride”
Monday and Thursday thru Sunday
(any day not reserved for special event) 7:30 am – 5:00 pm
Tuesday (barrel racing or props are not allowed) 9:00 am – 9:00 pm

Wednesdays (barrel racing and props are allowed) 9:00 am – 9:00 pm

Use of the Arena
- Groups: Group activities, including, but not limited to, Drill Team Practice and Horse Clubs are not permitted during Open Ride. Groups must contact the Fair Office (530-621-5860) to book arena use under regular rental rates.
- Lounging: Lounging is to be done in the center of the arena on a non-interference basis with other horses, as well as on a no-interference basis with priority activity of the day.
- Equipment: Equipment or obstacles, including jumps, poles, etc. are privately owned. Do not use without permission of owner.
- Parking: Horse trailers will be parked off the black top when conditions permit. Horses will be confined to arena area except when entering or leaving the Fairgrounds.
- User's Card: Current El Dorado County Fair identification cards must be hung from rear view mirror at all times when using facility.
Please clean up after your horses!
All refuse should be placed in designated containers.
