El Dorado County Fair & Event Center has garden spots available to adopt.
Individuals, families, clubs, classrooms, associations and more can adopt a garden spot to design, plant and maintain all yearlong. Gardens are available on a first come, first serve basis. They must be permanently planted and tended.

Fair Competition
Enter for a chance to win $100
A competition is held annually during the County Fair in June. Gardens are judged by best use of fair theme, most appealing, outstanding garden and outstanding year-round garden. Information on entering the competition can be found in the Flowers and Plants section of the Fair Entry Guide. Please use the Adult Entry Form when entering the competition.
